Holy Trinity has no ringable bells
The Tower is a member of The Devonshire Guild of Ringers, in the Aylesbeare branch. We support the monthly branch practices, and other activities, also acting as host tower once a year. In December we hosted the branch A.G.M.

Sunday ringing and practices are well supported. We are fortunate to have a dedicated band with a number of trainees progressing well.

Our annual Tower Outing last year was on Saturday September 22nd. We started at Newton-St-Cyres (8 bells), then to Shobrooke (6 bells), and moved on to The Thorverton Arms for much-needed refreshment.
After lunch we rang the 10 bells at Thorverton, then to our last tower at Whimple (6 bells).
We had quite a large group, having again invited the Branch officers to join us - 17 in all, including 13 ringers.
The less experienced ringers enjoyed the experience of trying out different bells, and the more experienced a good day out - the good weather was a bonus.

We are very grateful to the host towers for a warm welcome.

Three of our young ringers have progressed to the stage where they are now able to ring for Sunday services.

To mark this, and show our appreciation for the work they put in to reach this standard, a presentation was made at The Aylesbeare Branch A.G.M. by the president, Roger King.
